Role Overview: The Process Improvement Engineer plays a crucial role in the forefront of innovation at a premier provider of memory and storage solutions. This position is primarily focused on enhancing process quality, optimizing yield and efficiency, reducing costs, and addressing manufacturing line challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety training protocols and comply with environmental sustainability standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to yield, quality, defects, and equipment.
  • Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), and 8D methodologies to identify, analyze, and rectify process challenges.
  • Employ data analysis techniques combined with engineering expertise to make informed process decisions.
  • Provide support for complex troubleshooting of process-related issues.
  • Lead and coordinate meetings, monitor action items, and ensure timely resolution of tasks.

Project Work: Engage in initiatives aimed at optimizing wafer processing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required:
A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or relevant semiconductor experience; other engineering disciplines may also be considered.
  • A strong interest in advanced technologies and a relentless eagerness to learn.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Efficient use of resources and collaboration with peers and management to overcome obstacles.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills to work across diverse functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and partners.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical knowledge of SPC and Design of Experiments.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Proficiency in scripting, programming, and visualization tools such as Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of data interpretation and visualization.
  • Experience in data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics, particularly in querying databases.
