Job Summary:

The Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to support the Procurement and Contracting Services (PCS) Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for review by HUB Program management, which may be distributed to internal and external stakeholders, including members of the Texas Legislature and their staff.
  • Analyze and provide input to the modification of existing HUB reports developed and generated by the agency programming staff.
  • Maintain confidential records, files, and/or logs.
  • Communicate effectively with others to provide, exchange, or verify information.
  • Perform research and data analysis.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • Knowledge of computers and standard office software applications.
  • Skill in the operation of computers and general office equipment, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and present data and information.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and apply instructions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
Working Environment:

This is a temporary position that provides support to the PCS HUB Program. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
