Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present schedules in clear formats tailored to client specifications, which includes researching material availability and labor practices, estimating activity durations, evaluating global project variables, integrating quantity takeoff or other constraints, documenting project assumptions, and issuing project reports.
  • Assist in the upkeep of schedule databases and scheduling software, ensuring data is current and accessible to staff across the organization.
  • Oversee or support a project team in delivering Connico outputs beyond scheduling, including constructability assessments, project controls, escort or badging services, project planning, and related services.
  • Engage in project teams as necessary to fulfill Connico deliverables not specified above, including cost estimation.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables by collaborating with detailed design and planning-level or ROM-level documents.
  • Lead or support an internal team to achieve project objectives, ensuring timely delivery of outputs, producing reports that align with Connico's core values and high-quality standards, training other Connico staff, communicating project modifications or challenges, and maintaining budget compliance.
  • Assist in coordinating quality management reviews for Connico outputs and lead reviews of specific quality components.
  • Develop and mentor colleagues on both technical and non-technical subjects, sharing expertise throughout the organization.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships through regular engagement, both on project-related matters and general interactions.
  • If necessary, conduct onsite construction observations, including document management, quantity tracking, and monitoring construction activities.
  • Some travel may be necessary, including attendance at conferences, client meetings, project sites, or other company locations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering/technology, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of construction scheduling experience in relevant market segments; experience in aviation is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of ON-SITE construction experience is required; airfield experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications at various design levels, rough schedules, and architectural and engineering reports is essential.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software programs (Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Primavera OPC) is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, is required.
  • Experience in developing construction production rates for civil and architectural projects, including conceptual projects, is preferred.
  • A proven track record of managing, leading, and creating schedules on projects, including responsibility for deliverable timelines, budget management, integrating estimate elements from various divisions, and professional client communication is necessary.
  • Project Management PMP and/or Scheduling certification is preferred.
  • Some travel may be necessary, including attendance at conferences, client meetings, project sites, or other company locations.


Connico provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes a competitive salary starting at $110k+, along with bonus opportunities and ongoing growth prospects. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
