Position Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Construction Project Scheduler to oversee airport and other construction ventures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and concise schedules by compiling expected durations and logical components, conducting research on material availability and labor practices, and documenting project assumptions.
  • Analyze and create production rates for materials and labor across various construction tasks.
  • Collaborate with civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams to identify and resolve potential constructability challenges.
  • Engage with design teams or clients to clarify project scope and ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
  • Maintain schedule databases and scheduling software, ensuring data is current and accessible to all staff.
  • Lead a project team to fulfill Connico deliverables, including constructability reviews and project controls.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables while managing both detailed design and planning-level documents.
  • Provide training and mentorship on both technical and non-technical subjects, enhancing knowledge sharing within the company.
  • Guide an internal team to meet project objectives, ensuring timely delivery of outputs and maintaining Connico's standards of quality.
  • Foster client relationships through regular communication, both related to projects and general interactions.
  • Conduct onsite construction observations as needed, including document management and tracking construction activities.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, project sites, or other company-related activities may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, estimating, quantity surveying, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Over 10 years of experience in construction scheduling or planning within relevant market segments.
  • At least 2 years of onsite construction experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and creating schedules for major projects, including deliverable timeliness and budget management.
  • Proficient in basic office software such as Adobe, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Expertise in scheduling software like Primavera OPC, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to manipulate schedules and understand common estimating terminology.
  • Capable of interpreting architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Possession of technical certifications such as CCM, PMP, or PE is preferred.
  • Experience in the aviation sector is advantageous but not mandatory.

Connico provides a competitive compensation package, starting at $120k, with bonus potential and opportunities for professional growth. Compensation is based on experience and qualifications.

This position can be hybrid (in-office on specific days) or fully remote for the right candidate.
