Business Development Representative Opportunity

Vanguard Cleaning Systems, a leading master franchise company, is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team in Northern NJ.

The ideal candidate will focus on securing qualified appointments with prospective accounts, working closely with our Outside Sales Representative team to gather key details and organize information. We are looking for a talented individual with excellent verbal and listening skills, who can build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
  • Perform daily business-to-business contact calls with prospective accounts
  • Record and track account contact information using our CRM database
  • Perform follow-up and follow-through with prospective and existing accounts
  • Market through targeted phone calls and direct mailings to large prospective clients in the Northern NJ territory
  • Collaborate with the Management Team and Outside Sales Representative to achieve team goals
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales and/or business development
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Strong listening skills and empathy
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong work history
