Lead Engineer in Signal Processing and Communications

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the creation and enhancement of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms tailored for communication frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team to innovate software-defined radio applications.
- Investigate and propose cutting-edge solutions for complex communication challenges.
- Assist in business growth initiatives by drafting proposals, white papers, and technical documentation.
- Present technical findings and insights to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Guide and mentor junior team members while fostering new technology advancements.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in designing and implementing highly efficient DSP algorithms for communication systems.
- Experience with spread spectrum signal processing.
- Understanding of the trade-offs involving complexity, sensitivity, and reliability in signal processing algorithms.
- Familiarity with digital communication systems, channel coding techniques, and modulation principles.
- Hands-on experience with software-defined radio technologies.
- Skilled in prototyping, simulating, and testing systems using MATLAB.
Security Clearance: An active security clearance is mandatory, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
