Key Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Signal Processing Specialist, your role will commence with an extensive literature review of cutting-edge receiver algorithms.
Your objective will be to pinpoint the most viable options, perform a detailed, mission-critical trade analysis utilizing MATLAB, and present your findings to our stakeholders and partners.
Subsequently, you will draft a design specification, collaborate with our Software and Hardware Description Language (HDL) teams to develop a deliverable product, and regularly assess the product's operational performance, focusing on ongoing enhancements.
Additional tasks will involve applying the same fundamental approach to the creation of new waveforms and systems for electronic attack and protection, covering the entire lifecycle of deployed products.
Further responsibilities include showcasing our findings and recommendations at forums such as MILCOM and intra-government conferences; mentoring signal processing graduate students at leading universities through the Draper scholars program as we cultivate our talent pipeline; and generating innovative ideas and concepts, presenting them through task orders, proposals, patents, and white papers.

PhD in Electrical Engineering with over 10 years of relevant experience. Alternative education and experience will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates. A strong background in communications and information theory, adaptive signal processing, recursive estimation, detection and estimation theory, and array processing is essential.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in electromagnetics, RF design, and acoustics, along with coursework in systems such as SONAR and RADAR.
A keen interest in understanding various computing architectures, including GPP, GPU, FPGA, and Full Custom ASICs, with the ability to guide us in selecting the appropriate tools for specific tasks. Proficiency in prototyping, simulating, and testing systems using MATLAB is also preferred.
Security Requirement:Candidates are expected to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
