Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Specialist to join our team at Community Health Centers. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing patient records, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration: Accurately obtain and update patient demographic information, verify insurance coverage, and schedule appointments.
  • Customer Service: Greet patients with a smile, resolve requests and complaints, and provide prompt and accurate service to promote patient loyalty.
  • Financial Counseling: Interview patients to determine employment status, insurance coverage, and eligibility for payment plans, and assist with billing problems.
  • Administrative Procedures: Maintain confidentiality of patient information, audit patient charts, and generate end-of-day closing reports.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of front office experience, including Electronic Medical Records, preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional customer service skills, bi-lingual preferred, and ability to work flexible hours.
