KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Formulate Procurement Policies

Design, assess, and enhance the organization's procurement strategy to ensure it aligns with overall business objectives.

  • Facilitate Collaboration with Stakeholders

Engage with stakeholders, senior management, and departmental leaders to ascertain business requirements, and define the scope and criteria for procurement initiatives.

  • Oversee Vendor Selection

Conduct comprehensive market research and vendor assessments to support supplier selection. Develop, distribute, and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) through a digital management system, and oversee the evaluation of proposals leading to final vendor selection.

  • Establish Long-term Vendor Relationships

Implement best practices in vendor management throughout the negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal processes. Regularly evaluate vendor performance and conduct supplier risk assessments.

  • Analyze Procurement Metrics

Gather and analyze procurement data, including cost analysis, benchmarking spending data, and return on investment assessments.

  • Enhance Procurement Processes

Conduct periodic reviews of existing procurement processes to ensure ongoing improvement by refining policies, due diligence questionnaires, and RFP templates.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is primarily office-based, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, and filing systems.
