Transition Finance Strategies LLC is a leading professional services firm specializing in third-party administration of retirement plans, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) and 401(k) Plans. We are recognized as one of the top firms in the nation for ESOP recordkeeping and administration, and we are expanding our retirement services division.

We are currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals for the position of Associate Administrator.

Role Responsibilities

The Associate Administrator will assist in the management of our clients' ESOPs by executing tasks assigned by Plan Administrators throughout the annual plan cycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing ESOP census reports
  • Preparing financial statements for Plans
  • Conducting government reporting

The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative team environment and demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational abilities.

This is an entry-level role that offers a comprehensive learning experience about ESOPs, including recordkeeping and administration. There is significant potential for career advancement to the position of Plan Administrator and beyond.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work effectively within a team

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Business, or Economics is preferred. Candidates with an Associate degree demonstrating strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel will also be considered.
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with MS Word mail merge using Excel is a plus
  • Experience in benefits administration or retirement plans is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is essential
