Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000, plus commission. Compensation is determined by industry experience.

Position Overview:

The Specialty Account Manager is tasked with building and nurturing relationships with referral sources within a specified sales territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Senior Management to enhance operational efficiency, product expertise, and sales techniques to achieve both personal and organizational objectives.
  2. Develop a strategic business plan aimed at meeting and surpassing projected annual sales targets.
  3. Proactively seek referrals from current and potential clients.
  4. Address customer complaints in line with company policies and promptly inform management.
  5. Create territory plans to maximize efficiency in addressing customer needs and pursuing new business opportunities.
  6. Educate referral sources about all CSI Pharmacy services tailored to customer requirements and advantages.
  7. Formulate competitive strategies and routes based on market analysis.
  8. Adhere to all company policies, instructions, and directives to achieve organizational goals and maximize profitable sales.
  9. Complete and submit all necessary reports and administrative tasks punctually.
  10. Maintain accurate files and records as per company guidelines.
  11. Meet established company standards in selling skills, product knowledge, account management, professional conduct, and expense management.
  12. Assist management with special projects, including market assessments, surveys, budget development, and territory evaluations.
  13. Deliver high-quality services to home-care patients and referral sources.
  14. Participate in conventions, trade shows, and in-services related to IV therapy.
  15. Consistently represent the company in a professional and ethical manner.
  16. Foster effective working relationships and collaborate with all company personnel.
  17. Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Possess a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance, and have access to a reliable vehicle.

Education and Experience:

A college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable.

A minimum of two years in medical sales or a related field is required.

Experience in home infusion or specialty pharmacy is advantageous.

This position typically operates in a standard office environment. The role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
