Front Desk Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Embassy Suites Portland Tigard. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, leading the front desk team, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Ensure all guests are served promptly and courteously during all shifts, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve guest issues to their satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Assist with training, coaching, and scheduling for the front office team, and support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all front desk checklists and programs are followed, and review daily work to confirm it is error-free, including proper cash handling procedures and posting and reconciling charges applied to guest receipts.
- Communication: Maintain strong verbal and written communication skills, and be able to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
- Experience: Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment, as well as cash handling experience.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, and excellent communication skills.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
