Collaborating across teams, you will translate intricate concepts into engaging and straightforward messaging that appeals to developers, demonstrating a thorough grasp of the product, audience, and competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the product marketing strategy and go-to-market plan for Sentry's performance monitoring tools to foster user acquisition, engagement, and retention among developers.
  • Act as the customer advocate. Gain insights into their challenges and aspirations. Clearly articulate how our offerings stand out from competitors to ensure customer success from onboarding to their first successful event.
  • Create clear, benefit-focused messaging. Formulate compelling value propositions for developers that are distinct and resonate well. Accuracy, audience consideration, consistency, and validation through testing are essential.
  • Build strong relationships with developers. Collaborate with Sales Engineers to produce educational resources about our performance monitoring solutions that encourage developers to integrate Sentry seamlessly.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 3 years in product marketing with a successful history in technical content strategy and development. Experience in developer relations or community engagement is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and experience working with developer teams. Previous experience as a developer is a plus.
  • Proficient in prioritizing multiple opportunities while balancing customer needs with business objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A touch of wit, creativity, and humor, combined with adaptability and a strong sense of ambition tempered by humility.
