The Facilities Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the upkeep and repair of resort facilities and grounds, executing a variety of essential tasks and responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance as instructed through written, verbal, or electronic communication.
  • Research and consult operation and maintenance manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Perform minor repairs on LP boilers and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist senior maintenance personnel with repairs and replacements as required.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs on all building systems.
  • Deliver courteous and respectful service to our customers and guests, ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Receive and execute work orders or verbal directives from supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness in internal building areas and mechanical spaces, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
  • Paint and maintain interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, trim, and floors.
  • Repair and maintain plumbing, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment as directed.
  • Attend to building exteriors as necessary.
  • Support other departments as required.
  • Replace worn or damaged components such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machinery and equipment.
  • Assist with the relocation of furniture and the unloading and storage of supplies.
  • Complete all tasks as assigned by the building maintenance manager.
  • Keep accurate logs of maintenance tasks and service calls.
  • Perform snow and trash removal duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility for enrollment in the resort's Motor Vehicle Insurance policy.
  • VOSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • General knowledge of building maintenance tasks; familiarity with water and sewer system operations is a plus.
