We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Snowmaker I to join our winter operations team at Jay Peak Resort. As a Snowmaker I, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of snow surfaces for our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Snowmaking Operations: Assist with day-to-day snowmaking operations, including snow gun adjustments, assembly, and operation.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on snowmaking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Trail Preparation: Assist in preparing trails for snowmaking, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other snowmaking team members to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary, but a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Skills: Ability to work in a team environment, attention to detail, and physical stamina to work in cold weather conditions.
- Certifications: Valid State of Vermont Driver's License required.
