We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian II to join our team at the State Office Building in Bennington. As a key member of our Buildings and General Services (BGS) team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and visitors.

• Clean and disinfect clinical areas, including examination rooms and patient waiting areas
• Perform carpet cleaning and maintenance, including extraction and drying
• Care for and maintain hard floors, including stripping and waxing
• Conduct general office cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives

• One year or more of building custodial work, including floor maintenance tasks such as stripping and waxing floors and carpet extraction
• OR one year as a BGS Custodian I
• Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
• Good physical condition and ability to climb ladders and lift weights of up to 50-lbs
• Ability to work overtime and evening shifts as needed
