POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the Creative Manager, this role is pivotal in shaping and enhancing the online presence of Aztec Shops through innovative social media strategies. The individual will be responsible for the creation, implementation, and scheduling of engaging digital marketing content. A passion for both on-camera and behind-the-scenes work is essential, as the role involves interacting with various individuals to encourage participation in multimedia projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Note: The responsibilities outlined below are indicative of the range and general nature of tasks performed by individuals in this position. This list is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.
  • Develops engaging and shareable multimedia content that promotes the offerings of Aztec Shops.
  • Manages content distribution across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok, utilizing social media management tools.
  • Stays updated on social media trends and emerging platforms to enhance engagement.
  • Designs and executes strategies to boost traffic and interaction across all digital channels.
  • Assists in compiling monthly analytics reports for review by management and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using smartphones and digital cameras for photography and videography.
  • Utilizes various editing software, including but not limited to Lightroom, Photoshop, Capcut, iMovie, Premiere, and Canva, to enhance visual content.
  • Engages with students, staff, and visitors at events to promote brand visibility.
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations regarding health and safety.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with relevant experience in a similar role. Proficiency in both Macintosh and PC operating systems, particularly in video content creation and editing, is essential. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous. The ability to manage a diverse range of tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. Independent work capability and strong communication skills are necessary.

LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Proficiency in English is required, with the ability to follow instructions and comprehend various forms of documentation. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and colleagues.

MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING ABILITIES:

Basic mathematical skills are necessary for data analysis and reporting. The ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions and prioritize tasks is also required.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Competence in operating computers and multimedia recording devices is essential.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is primarily office-based, with occasional outdoor activities. Exposure to varying weather conditions may occur.
