Our client is a renowned global law firm based in Boston. They are looking to enhance their workforce by bringing on board a Legal Records Clerk.

Compensation:

$19/hr – $22/hr

Position Overview:

Our client is in search of a meticulous and systematic Legal Records Clerk to join their esteemed team at a distinguished law firm in Boston. The perfect candidate for the Legal Records Clerk role will possess a solid grasp of Microsoft Office Suite and filing protocols, along with outstanding research, organizational, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Records Clerk:
  • **Maintain Legal Documentation:** Efficiently file, retrieve, and update client and case files in accordance with firm policies and legal standards.
  • **Manage Legal Records:** Develop and uphold a thorough system for storing and accessing legal records, both physical and electronic, ensuring confidentiality and security.
  • **Process Legal Documents:** Examine and handle incoming legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • **Prepare and organize documents for storage.
  • **Transport files as necessary.
Qualifications for the Legal Records Clerk:
  • 1 – 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge of office equipment.
  • Previous legal experience is advantageous.
Educational Requirements:
  • Associate's degree preferred, but not mandatory.
