Key Responsibilities:

  • Address initial inquiries related to patient accounts from both patients and insurance providers via phone and written communication.
  • Record all inquiries and their resolutions in the Patient Accounting System meticulously.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and third-party payers concerning account-related questions.

Required Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma coupled with 1-3 years of experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen attention to detail are essential.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare business office setting is advantageous.
