Job Overview:
The Healthcare Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of medical services within a clinical environment. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities aimed at supporting both patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Duties:
    Conduct routine health assessments, including but not limited to auditory evaluations, respiratory assessments, and other surveillance examinations. Ensure all assessments are documented and tracked for compliance.
  • Patient Interaction:
    Prepare patients for consultations by obtaining vital signs, administering immunizations, and performing laboratory tests as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Case Management:
    Assist in managing patient cases by scheduling appointments, documenting interactions, and coordinating with external healthcare providers as necessary.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    Handle appointment scheduling, respond to inquiries, and manage documentation related to patient care. Ensure that all records are accurately maintained and uploaded into the electronic medical record system.
  • Supply Management:
    Oversee clinic inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Corporate Support:
    Assist with corporate initiatives, including data management and project support, to enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:
Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Additional certifications such as CAOHC, BAT Training, and NIOSH are preferred.

Communication:
Maintain professional and respectful communication with all stakeholders, including patients, colleagues, and external partners. Provide information regarding corporate benefits and assist with claims management as needed.

Training:
Complete all required training and development programs as assigned to ensure compliance and enhance professional skills.
