Success in this role requires the ability to handle both staff and patient inquiries effectively. A top-performing billing coordinator will actively seek improvements in the operations of the revenue cycle department.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be instrumental in maintaining the efficiency of the revenue cycle through regular feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating one-on-one meetings to uphold high standards of efficiency and quality in billing practices.
This role also includes reviewing financial hardship applications and serving as a primary contact for resolving patient complaints regarding billing and collections, ensuring a patient-focused approach in addressing these matters.
Ideal candidates should have a thorough understanding of psychotherapy billing practices, experience in revenue cycle management, strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in billing operations.
