Job Overview

The Senior Account Executive, Federal Sales will engage with C-Suite and Executive-level decision-makers at Federal Government agencies and qualified organizations to promote and sell T-Mobile's products and services. This role involves prospecting, cold-calling, networking, and generating leads and referrals to meet and exceed sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Strategy and Management: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for assigned accounts, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to negotiate contract terms and collaborate with the legal team.
  • Market Expansion and Growth: Develop and execute strategies to expand T-Mobile's market position within the Federal Government sector, building and maintaining positive relationships with senior executives, key decision-makers, and influencers.
  • Sales Funnel Management: Utilize sales force automation tools to manage the sales funnel, generate reporting on sales activities, and forecast revenue growth.
  • Business Development: Research business information about prospects, identify new sales opportunities, and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED (required); Bachelor's Degree (preferred); 4-7 years of business sales experience, with a proven track record of sales opportunity wins within the Federal Government sector (preferred).
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Business planning, account management, product knowledge, sales growth, communication, negotiation, executive-level presentations, contractual agreements, and knowledge of T-Mobile tools and systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

T-Mobile offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $103,320 - $186,410, and a total target cash pay range of $147,600 - $266,300, inclusive of target incentives. Employees in regular, non-temporary Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. T-Mobile provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a flexible spending account, 401(k), employee stock grants, employee stock purchase plan, paid time off, and up to 12 paid holidays.
