Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Government Sales to join our team. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of sales professionals, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving business growth in the government sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of 8+ sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to drive strong performance results.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth in the government sector, including identifying new opportunities and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales plans, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
  • Manage and direct government sales strategies, working closely with front-line government managers to execute sales plans and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders, including procurement officials and decision-makers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity, providing insights and recommendations to inform sales strategies and business decisions.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of experience in telecommunications services within the government sector.
  • 2-4 years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience selling B2B in enterprise environments.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred).
  • Experience in government procurement, strategic leadership, and customer acquisition.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Must be located in New York City.
