Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Airbus U.S. Space & Defense, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft maintenance flight logs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Aircraft Inspection: Perform primary inspections on aircraft to identify any defects or issues.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, audits, and other quality control activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of quality control activities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of our aircraft maintenance operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: A&P FAA license required; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Experience and Skills: Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft maintenance or related field; MS Office experience preferred; basic data entry or word processing skills required.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time; ability to see clearly, within 20/20 vision, with or without corrective lenses; ability to hear clearly with or without hearing aid devices.
Working Conditions
  • Travel Requirements: Travel may be required (no more than 10%); ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate communication skills required on a daily basis with internal and external parties.
