Job Summary:

Control Union U S A INC is seeking a highly skilled Field Inspector - Commodity Surveyor to join our team. As a Field Inspector - Commodity Surveyor, you will be responsible for executing surveys for various commodities, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute vessel/barge draft surveys to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct cargo surveys to verify the quantity and quality of commodities.
  • Superintend liquid cargoes, bulk, breakbulk, liquid, and containerized cargoes to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
  • Sample and prepare cargoes for testing and analysis.
  • Conduct field testing to verify the quality and quantity of commodities.
  • Liaise with personnel from CU offices, subcontractors, vessel agents, and terminals to execute orders and ensure smooth operations.
  • Advise Project Managers, office staff, and clients on the progress of the job and provide regular updates.
  • Handle and record samples, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
  • Verify documentation received from CU offices and subcontractors for accuracy and completeness.
  • Issue field reports and daily updates to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:
