Mobile Fleet Repair Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Repair Specialist to join our team at RepairSmith, Inc. As a Fleet Repair Specialist, you will be responsible for performing scheduled vehicle maintenance and repairs, as well as setting up and running location-based service operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including tire services and replacement of common wear and tear parts.
- Set up and manage location-based service operations, working collaboratively with other technicians as a service team.
- Inspect vehicles according to a defined procedure and interact with fleet management staff and central office team members.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
- Provide repair quote estimates for additional automotive repairs.
- Maintain service equipment, including stocking of parts, liquids, and proper disposal.
- Collaborate with a team that prioritizes customer satisfaction and technical problem-solving.
- Perform other duties as assigned by regional manager.
- Work in a stationary position for 50% of the time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent professional automotive repair experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of tech school or proof of alternative work experience.
- ASE certifications, especially in light duty and/or technical school, are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clear background check.
- Ability to work in a night shift schedule.
- Knowledge of repair shop software (AllData, Mitchell 1, etc.).
- Experience in fleet services and working on panel vans is a plus.

Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of all prerequisites required by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) / Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including a physical and medical certification.
