About the Role
The Fleet and Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the Moove fleet is utilized and kept on the roads to the highest extent. The role spans vehicle inbound, outbound, compliance, and in-life care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on new vehicle orders and strategies to optimize fleet performance.
• Develop and implement a strategy for ensuring effective in-life care activities, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
• Ensure turnaround times are kept low and the fleet is proactively managed while in the hands of drivers, Moove, or bodyshops.
• Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of any work completed, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Manage vehicle check-in and preparation, ensuring vehicles are properly inspected and prepared for use.
• Control and monitor repair costs (parts and labor) in line with the maintenance fund, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Ensure that all insurance claims are completed expediently and vehicles are brought back to operation in the minimum timeframe, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a field such as sales, marketing, operations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Fleet Management, with a proven track record of success in managing large fleets.
• Experience in using CRM systems to manage customer relationships and track fleet performance.
• Experience in managing high-performance teams, with a focus on leadership, communication, and collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, with little or no supervision, and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on adaptability, flexibility, and problem-solving.
