Job Summary

This position will support the Principal Program Manager office providing technical and engineering expertise to the Combat Systems Engineering and Integration team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and engineering expertise to support the modernization and evolution of Navy weapon and combat systems.
  • Participate in program management reviews and prepare and coordinate inputs for status reports, briefings, and information inquiries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for complex systems engineering issues.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical studies with a minimum of five years of U.S. Navy Surface Ship Combat Systems Engineering experience, or ten years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in providing product development solutions and system prototyping on key military acquisition platforms to enhance warfighter capabilities on surface combatant ships.
  • Experience in Agile Development Processes, including combat systems assessments, certifications, risk reduction, interoperability, and test analysis.
Clearance Requirements
  • Current and active Secret Security clearance.
Travel Requirements
  • Local travel will be required up to 10%.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
