Position Overview:
You will act as the primary liaison for all Combat Systems, Weapons, and Navigation Training Systems, along with their respective components, developed and delivered by the Department of the Navy and associated Government entities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the efforts of assistant program managers and technical managers.
- Supervise Government personnel who provide Program Management support for development, Fleet Review, and OPNAV approval of training documentation, including Front End Analysis (FEA) products.
- Coordinate and interface with OPNAV, TYCOMs, and Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs).
- Represent the Program office in all matters related to training systems and support services.

Conditions of Employment:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must meet suitability requirements for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New hires must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

Qualifications:
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must include:

  1. Analyzing needs and requirements to develop program initiatives and leading an integrated product team.
  2. Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial control for training systems programs.
  3. Effective communication with stakeholders through written and oral means.
  4. Monitoring progress and adjusting program planning to adapt to changing conditions.

Additional Information:
This position is subject to the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) and requires certification in the Acquisition Functional Area within established timeframes. Travel may be required, including to remote or isolated sites.
