Combat Systems Program Coordinator

Position Overview:
You will act as the primary liaison for all Combat Systems, Weapons, and Navigation Training Systems, along with their respective components, developed and delivered by the Department of the Navy and associated governmental entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the efforts of assistant program managers and technical leads.
- Oversee Government personnel providing Program Management support for development, Fleet Review, and OPNAV approval of training documentation, including Front End Analysis (FEA) products.
- Manage, coordinate, and engage with OPNAV, TYCOMs, and Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs).
- Represent the Program office in all aspects of training systems, support services, and operational requirements.
Conditions of Employment:

- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New hires will need to successfully complete the E-Verify employment verification check.
Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/13) or pay band (DA-05) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector to fulfill the duties of a Program Manager. Specialized experience must include:
- Analyzing needs and requirements to develop program initiatives and lead an integrated product team.
- Planning, directing, and evaluating acquisition, management, technical development, and financial oversight for training systems programs.
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders through written and oral means.
- Monitoring progress, planning engagements, and adjusting program strategies to adapt to changing conditions.
Additional Information:
This position is subject to the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established timeframes. The role may require travel to various locations, including remote or isolated sites, and you must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods.
