This role is an entry-level opportunity designed to support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager in their daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project alignment
  • Maintain and oversee project plans
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of project timelines
  • Manage procurement and delivery of materials
  • Handle project correspondence
  • Review drawings and specifications for accuracy
  • Assess project risks and propose effective solutions
  • Evaluate shop drawings and submittals for compliance
  • Engage with vendors and subcontractors for proposals
  • Review and validate change order requests from subcontractors
  • Process change orders and additional work orders
  • Monitor the status of change orders
  • Collect and verify as-built documentation
  • Conduct field observations and maintain documentation
  • Organize and document project meetings
  • Perform quantity take-offs and measurements
  • Compile and submit project close-out documents
  • Assist in preparing and approving progress payment requests
  • Manage and track Requests for Information
  • Oversee the status of shop drawings and submittals
  • Actively participate in project safety initiatives
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Assist with job site setup
  • Verify subcontractor insurance compliance
  • Review certified payrolls and manage payroll reports
  • Coordinate vendor activities and payments
  • Generate payment requests
  • Track subcontractor payment requests and schedules
  • Collect and match lien waivers with payment schedules
  • Draft contracts as required
  • Link all project documentation using project management software
  • Maintain organized office files
  • Supervise office administrative tasks
  • Enhance workflows and administrative procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent trade experience is required. Proficiency in basic computer applications, including spreadsheets and word processing, is essential. Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are necessary for success in this role.
