Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator I plays a pivotal role in orchestrating the planning, execution, and evaluation of diverse marketing initiatives, which encompass printed materials, digital communications, website content, trade show displays, and corporate presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates administrative functions and supports the seamless execution of project phases across various marketing campaigns, ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
- Provides comprehensive event support, including the development of marketing materials for conferences and managing logistics such as ordering, packing, shipping, and tracking of event supplies.
- Oversees the creation, approval, and dissemination of email communications directed at external stakeholders.
- Ensures brand consistency through the application of established templates and the production of printed materials, web design, and other marketing collateral.
- Engages in additional departmental projects as required, collaborating effectively with the marketing team and undertaking various assigned tasks.
Education
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in marketing or a professional setting is required.
- Familiarity with consumer marketing, ideally within the financial services sector.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrates strong project management capabilities and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
- Proficient in managing and negotiating project timelines and plans.
- Exhibits strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
- Strategic thinker with problem-solving aptitude.
- Innovative and self-driven, capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Creative mindset with a passion for marketing and brand management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Adobe Design Programs is a plus but not essential.
Work is generally conducted in a standard office setting. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee is regularly required to maintain consistent attendance, communicate effectively with others, and frequently engage in standing, walking, sitting, and using hands and fingers for various tasks.
