Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, management, and implementation of IT certification programs and courses.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide accurate information to stakeholders.
  • Conduct research to ensure the program meets the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Manage program scheduling, classroom assignments, and facility utilization.
  • Supervise and train pathway staff members.
  • Identify and spearhead new workforce education initiatives.
  • Manage the operational budget for the IT Pathway.
  • Prepare and provide information for the annual budget development process.
  • Co-create student success and retention operations.
  • Ensure compliance with UDC policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, evaluate, and select instructors.
  • Serve on campus and community committees.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent technical degree.
  • Five years of experience in the IT field, including project management, supervision, and/or IT training/education.
  • Three years of operational and/or program/project management experience.
  • Three years of supervisory experience.
