The Role

The Mission Operations Lead will be responsible for driving the execution of existing customer contracts and the growth and scale of customer relationships. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to navigate complex organizational and contracting pathways, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with customers to ensure the successful deployment of autonomy solutions.
  • Scope and implement pilots with partners, working directly with Forterra engineers to build relevant products for client operational needs.
  • Expand successful pilots into larger projects, converting tangible outcomes into a shared roadmap for expansion.
  • Embed the platform into the hands of customers who need it by identifying those with a problem our technology can solve and enabling their understanding of the technology's value.
  • Work hands-on with partners to navigate complex organizational, contracting, and budget pathways to implement a pilot or project.
Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with business partners and customers.
  • Comfortable setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment.
  • Enthusiasm for and broad knowledge of technology.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time.
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold a US DoD Security Clearance.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in a start-up or similar fast-paced environment.
  • Experience selling to or working within the Dept of Defense.
  • Engineering or Technical Degree, or a strong passion for emerging tech.
