Job Overview

The Commission Management Services (CMS) division is dedicated to overseeing the Commission Sharing Arrangements (CSAs) for our global institutional and hedge fund clientele. Our team is tasked with the promotion of CSAs and the management of ongoing client relationships. Collaborating closely with sales and trading departments, we deliver tailored commission management solutions for clients aiming to separate execution from research commissions across all executing brokers.

We are in search of a Client Service Representative to support our team in executing the strategies of our dynamic organization while collaborating with various stakeholders to fulfill business requirements.

This role will act as a liaison for post-execution and daily operational inquiries between Liquidnet CMS clients and their respective CSA Brokers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new members to CMA (Commission Management Aggregation) and CA (Commission Analyzer) along with their respective executing partners.
  • Serve as the primary account representative and operations associate for multiple sales representatives and trade operations teams, nurturing client relationships and assisting with daily inquiries.
  • Provide account coverage and relationship management for designated accounts, offering support in managing their Liquidnet CSA accounts and other CMPs across all execution brokers, including but not limited to:
    • Trade reconciliations (t+1)
    • Monthly statement generation
    • Payment processing
    • Client profitability analysis and reporting
    • Management of client payment allocations and reporting
    • Analysis and reporting of key performance trends in broker vote rankings
    • Collaboration with legal and compliance teams to structure client agreements
    • Oversight of operational support for client CSA account reconciliations and payments, ensuring timely processing and alignment of account balances with each member
    • Assist the Technology team in the development and testing of new functionalities and capabilities within the CMS platform.
  • Act as a key liaison among institutional clients, managers, street brokers, and internal departments (Finance, Technology, Sales Marketing, and Member Services).

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in technology with comfort in utilizing multiple systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities
  • Strong analytical skills with the capacity to prioritize and follow through
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
