Your Role
We are seeking a seasoned engineer with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience in the planning and design of river, stream, and floodplain projects.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of ecologists, landscape architects, engineers, and scientists to deliver multidisciplinary projects in intricate ecological environments.

Project Types Include:
- River and stream habitat restoration
- Fish passage enhancement
- Watershed and floodplain assessment
- Coastal habitat rehabilitation
- Riverbank stabilization
- Flood control initiatives
- Infrastructure development and safeguarding

Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- 15+ years in the design of stream and river restoration projects
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Current PE license in Washington or Oregon, or ability to obtain one

Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of West Coast watershed dynamics
- Experience in preparing design plans and specifications
- Proficient in managing design tasks and construction processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a focus on aquatic ecosystems
- Project management experience in floodplain and restoration design
- Familiarity with hydrologic modeling techniques
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArcGIS
