Shift: Days

Pay: $54.28 / hour. Compensation is based on the applicant's relevant experience

Overview: Responsible for assessing and addressing the therapy needs of patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts and records initial and ongoing evaluations of patients' conditions. Develops a care plan tailored to identified issues, engaging the patient and family based on their capabilities and preferences.
  • Informs patients and their families/caregivers about identified deficits. Plans and/or assists with the patient's transition from therapy services and treatment environments.
  • Provides guidance on the appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and support programs.
  • Oversees and assigns tasks to therapy assistants in accordance with established licensing laws, state regulations, and professional standards.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently within the scope of the role. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Required Education: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: Current certification with Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Minimum Experience: None required.
