Chief Executive Officer

COMPANY BACKGROUND:

A dynamic, privately owned, innovative graphic solutions firm specializing in art curation, design, architectural installations, bespoke furniture, environmental graphics, custom fabrication, and more.

The company collaborates with a diverse clientele, including brands, major corporations, public entities, museums, agencies, developers, architects, and designers.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES:

The Chief Executive Officer will partner closely with the executive team to ensure the organization's profitability through comprehensive oversight of financial performance, daily operations, and project management.

The CEO will develop, test, and implement processes, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in a creatively driven environment aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and project quality while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role includes establishing effective cost control measures to optimize return on investment (ROI) and supporting the sales process by providing insights into pricing strategies and project timelines.
The CEO will hold ultimate responsibility for driving revenue growth across the organization.

The ideal candidate will serve as the company's representative and possess an entrepreneurial mindset, with a proven history of impactful, high-value achievements in designing and executing growth and transformation initiatives.

MAJOR ISSUES/

GOALS:

Oversee all projects from proposal through execution, collaborating with various cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class product.


Foster close collaboration with internal team leaders, including but not limited to sales, design, engineering, finance, fabrication, and project management, to define operational processes and workflows as teams and project pipelines expand.

Proactively identify areas for improvement or efficiency and work collaboratively with relevant departments to devise solutions.

Quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's strategic direction. Analyze cost structures, estimating procedures, and financial implications, and develop ROI analyses on a project-by-project basis. Lead initiatives focused on margin and profitability in coordination with the financial team.


Identify opportunities to maximize efficiencies, enhance workplace consistency, and uncover cost-saving and avoidance strategies.

Provide coaching and mentorship to foster the development of leadership qualities among key employees within the organization.


Effectively communicate with senior leadership and earn the respect of the leadership team through engagement and performance.

Build a high level of trust across all company employees.

Exhibit strong communication skills to cultivate partnerships with internal teams and serve as a trusted advisor for the leadership team.

Demonstrate the company's values and culture consistently, adhering to the highest ethical standards in all activities undertaken.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, with recent leadership experience in operations/project management and a successful track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while achieving profitability on a project basis.


Demonstrated experience in commercial architecture, design and build firms, experiential design, space planning, project management, building construction, set fabrication, or related industries.

Proven experience in creating, implementing, and monitoring operational processes and procedures to support organizational growth and stability.

Demonstrated fiscal accountability and responsibility for projects, with the ability to balance design considerations while adhering to budgets and understanding return on investment.

Proven leadership skills to collaborate across functions, with clients, architects, contractors, and internally, to coordinate and deliver complex projects.

Exceptional communication skills—written, presentation, and oral—for both strategic and tactical client interactions.

Demonstrated intellectual capacity for problem-solving through deductive and inductive reasoning.

Ability to effectively identify and resolve problems and conflicts.

Strong commitment to providing excellent client service.

Outstanding leadership, organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrated experience.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
