Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for achieving individual fundraising targets.
  • Engage in all phases of the donation process.

  • Oversee prospect management and document engagement activities.
  • Concentrate on securing support for organization-wide initiatives.
  • Provide strategic counsel regarding prospects to staff members.
  • Lead the development team effectively.

Relationships:

  • Reports To: Deputy Scout Executive.
  • Interacts With: Development team, high-level donors, volunteers, and various organizational departments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in major gift fundraising.
  • Demonstrated success in securing substantial annual donations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Proficient in donor management software.
  • Dedication to the mission and values of the organization.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
