About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Consultant to join our team at Darby Consulting. As a Project Management Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and projects, utilizing your knowledge and expertise to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain project plans and key project tasks to support projects and initiatives
  • Engage and work collaboratively with clients and key stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Utilize project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to lead and/or support projects
  • Scope specific tasks of projects and produce management information on project trends and other information as required by project leadership
  • Tactfully communicate sensitive information and possess a 'can-do' spirit that fosters creative and innovative thinking

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience, preferably in IT, including project scoping, budgeting, earned value analysis, and reporting
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, strategic relationships with stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel, if necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills
  • Strong time and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Positive, can-do, collaborative attitude and highly motivated, results-driven personality
  • Strong project skills with proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP Certification or Master's degree strongly preferred
