Job Overview

We are in search of an enthusiastic individual to join the Visitor Experience (VE) team. VE Specialists serve as the representatives of ARTECHOUSE, dedicated to ensuring an exceptional visitor journey while maintaining the integrity of the art and technology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Serve as the face of ARTECHOUSE, providing prompt and positive customer service to all visitors, both in person and via electronic communication.


• Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance the visitor experience.


• Greet guests and deliver an engaging introduction to enhance their visit.


• Safeguard the artwork and ensure guest safety by maintaining a vigilant presence throughout the gallery.


• Keep a thorough understanding of the featured artists, installations, and the digital medium.


• Execute opening, closing, and mid-shift tasks to maintain a pristine environment for visitors.


• Utilize ticketing systems to assist guests with ticket purchases, check-ins, and other related inquiries.


• Actively engage with visitors to enrich their experience.


• Manage visitor flow and crowd control, anticipating opportunities to assist and ensure smooth operations.


• Inform guests about ARTECHOUSE's mission and current exhibitions.


• Exemplify ARTECHOUSE's values in every interaction with visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS


• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.


• Adaptability and a positive attitude when interacting with diverse individuals.


• Comfortable addressing small groups.


• Experience with, or willingness to learn, ticketing and office software.


• Ability to remain active during shifts, including walking and standing in public areas.


• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evening shifts.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE


• Background in visitor services or hospitality is advantageous.


• Adherence to a dress code of black and white attire is required.
