This role is a key leadership position within the organization, responsible for fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion, driving talent development, and ensuring a seamless synergy between team members and business needs.

Key Objectives:

  • Develop and execute HR strategic plans that align with the organization's business objectives, including metrics and KPIs that support company goals.
  • Maximize workforce potential through effective training and development programs, anticipating future skill requirements and career planning.
  • Implement a flexible staffing model that attracts and retains top talent, supporting changing business needs and workforce morale.
  • Protect the organization and its employees by ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations.
  • Align HR programs and policies with business needs, promoting a positive team member experience through communication, recognition, inclusion, and professional development/training.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly in relation to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, succession planning, and change management.
  • Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, sensitive, and specialized questions and issues, including reasonable accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles, in collaboration with departmental managers.
  • Develop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct leadership to Human Resources and Training department members.
  • Coach and advise organizational leaders on HR and Training matters.
  • Collaborate with organizational leaders to plan and achieve HR/Training department goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of human resources experience.
  • At least two years of leadership experience.
