Human Resources Director

Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources at iNtegrity+ is responsible for providing strategic human resources support to the business units, focusing on performance management, team building, investigations, change management, leadership development, and discipline. This role manages multiple areas of responsibility, including Training, Engagement, Talent Acquisition, Licensing, Labor Relations, Benefits, and Wardrobe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business priorities into HR programs, processes, and initiatives that drive value and meet business needs.
- Act as the first point of contact for leaders and team members regarding human resources-related questions and issues, providing accurate and appropriate information or guidance.
- Consult with department leaders on human resource issues, including talent planning, career mobility, retention, engagement, work actions, performance management, and other related areas.
- Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across the organization to facilitate continuous improvement.
- Coach leaders to accelerate leadership effectiveness by applying leadership skills to develop and implement engaging work environments and proper HR processes.
- Oversee the Benefits Program, including health and welfare plans, medical, dental, life, disability, 401K benefit plans, FSA, and COBRA.
- Drive change management practices to enable organizational effectiveness, incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies to maximize competitive advantage and workforce skills.
- Partner with business leaders to develop strategies that foster employee engagement and commitment.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Assist with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports, including EEO-1, affirmative action plans, organizational charts, labor agreements, and employee handbooks.
- Partner with external and internal counsel as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Management, or a related field.
- Three plus years' experience in HR leadership or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of federal and local labor laws.
- Strategic thinker and creative problem solver with a track record of developing teams and building skillsets.
- Experience and working knowledge of various HR functions, including recruiting, employee relations, labor relations, benefits, payroll, and HRIS.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations:
- PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP or SCP preferred.
- Gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with particular attention to quality and detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business drivers in the industry.
- Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on analysis.
