Key Responsibilities- Menu Development: Collaborate with the Dining Services Director to create exciting seasonal menus that meet the needs of our residents.
- Culinary Leadership: Instruct and educate culinary associates in diverse cuisines and new cooking equipment, and mentor and grow dining associates to achieve their full potential.
- Quality Assurance: Perform daily quality assurance testing on raw goods, plated foods, and prepared meals to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Sanitation and Cleanliness: Maintain excellent sanitation and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and throughout the dining areas.
- Culinary Certification: Possess a culinary certification and a minimum of five years of professional culinary experience in quantity food production, menu writing, and kitchen management.
- Team Player: Be a great team player with a passion for excellence, a progressive and creative thinker, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Education and Certifications: A current Food Handlers Certificate is required, and a culinary degree is preferred.
