Position Overview:
As a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation and commissioning of electrical systems within building projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead the startup and commissioning processes for electrical building systems.
2. Act as a subject matter expert in reviewing product submissions, engineering designs, and contractor inquiries.
3. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations for electrical installations, including Lock-Out procedures and arc flash safety.
4. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant building codes and industry standards such as IBC, NEC, NFPA, and ASHRAE.
5. Collaborate with construction teams and equipment suppliers to facilitate factory testing, delivery, and installation of electrical systems.
6. Coordinate weekend and plant shutdown activities with contractors and facility management.
7. Conduct ongoing inspections to monitor work progress and quality.
8. Support construction administration tasks, including schedule management and quality assurance.
9. Inspect electrical systems for compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
10. Supervise electrical contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
11. Prepare and present engineering status reports to project management.
12. Provide constructive feedback to enhance project specifications and technical standards.
13. Communicate technical information effectively in both written and verbal formats.
14. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks based on deadlines.

Qualifications:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years in construction management.
- Experience in developing design criteria for electrical systems.
- Background in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project.
