Insight Global is in search of a skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to contribute onsite for a prominent client. This role is integral to the Battery Manufacturing Production Engineering team, focusing on the expansion of a leading Battery Manufacturing Plant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective operation of electrical systems and equipment within the production setting.
- Conduct testing and repairs on electrical systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives.
- Demonstrate proficiency in programming, troubleshooting, and modifying programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and various electronic devices.
- Address and rectify issues related to safety systems and machine components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Plan and implement machine integration processes for mass production.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of work, including detailed project schedules.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and engineering professionals.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in reading, writing, and modifying Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems in an industrial manufacturing context.
- Flexibility in work availability, including the ability to work overtime and weekends as project demands arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An associate degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with new plant or facility startups.
- Familiarity with high-volume production in clean room environments.
