Role Summary:
Abidi Solutions is looking for a proficient Control Systems Engineer to contribute to a state-of-the-art Battery Manufacturing Plant. This pivotal position is dedicated to maintaining the efficient operation of electrical systems in a high-output production setting. Candidates with a solid grounding in electrical engineering, practical experience with PLCs, and the ability to excel in dynamic industrial environments are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Key Duties:
- PLC Development: Design, modify, troubleshoot, and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, imaging systems, and other electronic components.
- Electrical Maintenance: Evaluate, diagnose, and fix electrical apparatus and systems, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives.
- Safety System Management: Identify and resolve issues in safety systems, as well as mechanical components such as hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Machine Integration: Strategize and implement the integration of machinery into mass production workflows, ensuring efficient operation and peak performance.
- Documentation & Project Management: Keep thorough records of all tasks completed, including detailed timelines for assigned initiatives.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams and other stakeholders to enhance safety, quality, and productivity continuously.
Essential Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in reading, writing, and modifying PLCs.
- Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within an industrial manufacturing context.
- Adaptability: Openness to working additional hours and weekends as project demands dictate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Start-Up Experience: Familiarity with the initiation of new plants or facilities.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in high-volume production within a cleanroom setting.
