Essential Qualifications:

  • Availability for flexible work hours, including potential overtime and weekend shifts as required by project demands

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with new plant or facility startup projects
  • Background in high-volume production within a clean room environment

Role Overview:

Insight Global is in search of an Electrical Systems Engineer to provide onsite support for a prominent client. This position is integral to the Battery Manufacturing Production Engineering team as they embark on the expansion of a leading Battery Manufacturing Plant. The Electrical Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation of electrical systems and equipment within the production landscape. This role demands a solid grounding in electrical engineering principles, hands-on technical skills, and a dedication to safety and ongoing improvement.

  • Conduct testing and repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including circuits, relay logic, wiring, motors, and servo drives.
  • Demonstrate strong capabilities in programming, troubleshooting, modifying, and repairing programmable logic controllers, robotics, cameras, and various electronic devices.
  • Troubleshoot and rectify issues in safety systems and machine components, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Plan and implement machine integration into mass production workflows.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of work, including the creation of detailed schedules for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and engineering professionals.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills and a commitment to enhancing safety, quality, and productivity.
