Position: Electrochemical Production Engineer

Contract Duration: 12 months
Overtime Potential: Up to 30% during peak phases of project execution
Travel Requirements: Approximately 10% for both domestic and international engagements, including potential travel for meetings and observations.
Interview Process: The selection process consists of two rounds: an initial video interview followed by an in-person interview for local candidates.
Important Note: Candidates are required to provide their own safety footwear; all other necessary personal protective equipment will be supplied.
Role Responsibilities:
- Contribute to daily reporting and communication with senior management.
- Design and implement process strategies for battery production lines, collaborating closely with management.
- Engage in a cooperative team environment, working alongside engineers, construction teams, technicians, and vendors to meet project objectives.
- Oversee the procurement of equipment, planning for installation, execution, commissioning, and the initiation of production lines.
- Adhere to advanced cleanliness standards in designated manufacturing areas.
- Lead or assist in equipment trials at vendor locations and on-site to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity benchmarks.
- Identify and manage punchlist items, conduct root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Summarize key performance indicators and facilitate the transition to mass production while addressing production challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both domestically and internationally, to review ongoing projects and schedules.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules for assigned projects.
- Manage budgets associated with designated areas of responsibility.
- Complete required internal and external training programs.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in preparing for and executing capital projects, from initial planning through to mass production.
- Project management expertise with capital investments exceeding $0.5 million.
- Experience in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring timely equipment installation.
- Ability to interpret and analyze 2D technical drawings, including facility layouts and process equipment schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D design software, such as AutoCAD.
- Willingness to travel for business, both domestically and internationally, up to 30% of the time.
- Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods as project demands dictate.
