Job Description

Role Overview

The Mayor's Office of Talent and Appointments is seeking a dedicated individual to serve as a member of the Racial Equity Advisory Board. As a key member of this board, you will provide ongoing input on racial equity in the District and serve as a liaison between the Office and the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in quarterly meetings to discuss and provide input on racial equity initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between the Office and the public, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribute to the development of policies and programs that promote racial equity in the District

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of the District of Columbia
  • Appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council
  • Individuals with a strong background in advancing racial equity or social justice are highly preferred
